The history of this particular castle farm dates back to the 17th century. A long time ago there was also a small bakery located in the farm. Since 35 years Henry and Paula Morainville Nenzl are the owners of the estate. Henry signed for the renovation and established his antique shop in part of the building. From the moment the private area was renovated, gradually the plans for the B & B developed. While Henry is engaged with antique refurbishing of antiques and the manufacture of new replica furniture (including Louis XVI), Paula runs the B & B.Accommodation and prices
Guests are welcomed in the large hall at the burning fireplace.
The large terrace in the garden is a great place to read a book or have a drink. Weather permitting breakfast is also served here. On colder days the small romantic lounge (also with fireplace) is used.
There are three guest rooms, all attractively decorated with antiques.
Two rooms share a bathroom and are therefore very suitable for families. One of these rooms is very spacious, while the second room is smaller. In the aisle are coffee and tea making facilities.
The third guestroom, known as the tower room, has a private entrance and a bathroom with bath. In the aisle overlooking the courtyard guests can read a book.
When the roses bloom they cover the entire facade of the courtyard!
Horses can be stabled.

Forêt (Trooz)The village Forêt is located at the Gate of the Ardennes and on the border of the Herve area in the Ardennes. The village has no more than 170 inhabitants and is situated at 450m above sea level. La Ferme des Loups is a small hill and is surrounded by grassland. From there various walking routes through the beautiful scenery can be enjoyed. Close are the Baths of Chaudfontaine. Also the Watermuseum and the Blegny mine can be visited. Banneux is 10 minutes away, Esneux and Spa (with a flea market every Sunday morning) at 20 minutes. The center of Liege can be reached within 15 minutes, and Maastricht in half an hour. In the vicinity are various restaurants.
