In the summer of 1990, the centuries-old Oostendorper watermill (1548) was turned once again into a hospitality establishment. To restore the former teahouse and transform it into a splendid restaurant in perfect harmony with the other historic buildings, only purely authentic building materials and techniques were used. A decade later, the 16th- century half-timbered barn was included in the restoration project and converted into an intimate luxury hotel. The five magnificent suites all look out on the watermill, which to this day is still producing and selling different types of flour.

Accommodations and prices
The five spacious, intimate luxury suites, complete with railway sleepers and collar beams, exude a rustic Twente charm. The private bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub and shower, as well as all modern conveniences.
The bridal suite has a whirlpool tub and a special waterbed.

The open kitchen of the restaurant (which was awarded a Bib Gourmand by Michelin) is a captivating centre of attention. Huub Wolferink and his team excel in regional specialties, prepared with dedication and honest products whose choice is guided by the seasons. The elegantly laid tables in the conservatory are arranged around an open fireplace. In the summer, meals are served on the large terrace that provides a delightful view of the old mill and the surrounding nature.
