Landgoed Rijckholt

This new country estate is located on the farming fields of an old farm. The greatest part of the 6,5 ha large domain is planted forest. In the past the father in law of the owner was running an orchard with beautiful apples and pears. Four guestrooms ,a restaurant and some spaces for common use are located in the former fruit barn. The other twelve rooms are located in the newer shed.

Accommodation and prices
Although all sixteen bedrooms have a different theme, they are without exception new, have enough space and their own bathroom with a bath or a shower.
The rooms in the newer shed have a door that leads directly to the garden and a terrace where you can enjoy the peace.
The large room in the restaurant has a nice big fireplace with chairs and comfortable couches.
This space is also for common use and perfectly designated for groups.
There are some rooms which can be used to give workshops or to hold meetings.
Most of these rooms have wireless internetaccess.

From EURO 85.00 for a double room, inclusive breakfast.

Super advantageous autumn weekend

Autumn in Zeeland means long walks along the beach en settle afterwards with a “good glass” at the fireplace.
* On Friday after the traffic jam (until 21:30) we welcome you with a hefty soup, Farmers bread and cheese plate.
* Saturday morning extensive breakfast, Saturday afternoon a walk on the beach or relaxing by the fireplace.
* Saturday evening “Guest Table Dinner”.
* Sunday morning lie-in, breakfast and a little shopping or browsing in the small “Anton Pieck” town of Veere.

Surroundings

Rijckholt is located in the middle of the province ‘Zeeland’ on ‘Noord-Beveland’. The ‘Veerse Meer’ and the ‘Oosterschelde’ (a lake and a part of a river) are just 5 minutes away. Participation on sailing and canoe trips can be arranged. Guests of Rijckholt can also discover the area in a nature hiking trip or take part in a workshop ‘making pottery’.
