The town hall of Sint Maarten (1911) is a stately monument in neo-classical style.Until the seventies, new residents of the municipality were personally welcomed by the mayor in the old boardroom.
Since 1990, the property is in private hands. For years ‘De Bode Room’ in the wing has been a charming guest accommodation. As of May 2012 ‘De Secretarie’, with its high ceilings, original vault door and stained glass windows, will also be open to guests.

Apartment 1
‘De Bode Room’ has a cozy living room with a sheep leather sofa and a luxurious English country house style open kitchen.
In the bedroom you will find a comfortable spring bed and flat screen with DVD. The bathroom has a bath, shower and toilet.
Apartment 2 (open from mid-April 2012)
‘De Secretarie’ has a high and spacious living room with chandelier, ornaments and pantry.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet, washbasin and bathtub on legs.
The bedroom has a queen-size (1.80 m) power-adjustable box spring, a flat screen and DVD player.
Guests of ‘De Secretarie’ have exclusive access to the private garden (100m2) with outdoor kitchen.
The comprehensive, farm-fresh breakfast is served in the apartments. Wireless Internet is free to use.

Sint MaartenErgoed Logies Het Raadhuys is situated behind the West Frisian Zeedijk (cultural heritage) that meanders throught the flower fields and pastureland. There are several cycling routes, including the Heemtroute and the Dijk en Duin route. An 18-hole golf course and beaches and dunes are nearby (3 km), as well as Schagen, a picturesque town offering plenty of shops and restaurants. Alkmaar, Hoorn and Bergen are less than half an hour away.
