HistoryWith wooden beams as thick as elephant's feet, this farmhouse has withstood quite a bit of history. Built in 1762, it served as a residence for farmers until the Second World War. After the war, the mayor of Opsterland and his family moved into the front part of the farmhouse. The back part was inhabited by the local veterinarian, where the apartment is now located.
