At ‘Anna aan de Motte’, you will bathe in luxury and enjoy an abundance of space. Historical heritage sites are lovely, especially when infused with contemporary art and design. Various works of art are displayed on the walls and throughout the house.
The ground floor has a well equipped kitchen, luxury living room and a terrace facing the canal. The first floor encompasses a bathroom with a soaker tub, a bedroom featuring a fireplace, and an infrared sauna. Feel free to appreciate a lovely glass of wine on the roof terrace, whilst gazing upon Gouda’s Sint Janskerk.
The house features self-catering facilities, but a well-stocked fridge for breakfast is always on hand and included.
This national monument is situated in the historical city centre of Gouda, close to the town hall and the Markt (the market square). Various shops, restaurants and little bars, are all located within walking distance. Gouda is set in the midst of the National Park 'het Groene Hart'. A good bicycle trip is a true must. Rotterdam is also nearby.History
The residential premises, classified as a Rijksmonument [National Monument], likely dates from 1680, but record office investigations shows that residents already wandered here as early as 1510. The house was fully restored in 1998. The house’s backyard borders directly with the castle: the place where Gouda initially started out as a city.
