Bettina is a kindergarten teacher and Jo works for a transport company. Together they have two beautiful children and there was always that dream to open a B&B together. In the former servant's house from 1763, belonging to the castle of Gijzegem in their hometown of Aalst, they found the location of their dreams. After the necessary restoration work, they opened the doors of their B&B Hof Ter Koningen in March 2020 with three wonderful guest rooms.
All rooms are on the ground floor, each has a separate sitting and sleeping area, very comfortable beds, every possible comfort and a private terrace. The Keizerkamer has a bathroom with a shower and a panorama sauna. The attractive Prince Room has a bathroom with a shower and the Voil Jeanetten Room has a bathroom with a rain shower.
In the large garden you can relax while enjoying a local beer or a southern Italian wine - a wide range of both is available - and the fresh breakfast, which is served in the attractive breakfast room, consists of numerous regional products.
Your B&B is surrounded by greenery 2 km from the center of Aalst and is therefore the perfect base for exploring Aalst and the surrounding area. The station, the city park, Utopia, the municipal museum and all other highlights of Aalst can be found in the immediate vicinity of the B&B. The area is wonderful for walking and cycling.
