In the Groningen village of Noordbroek, on an old farmyard with fruit trees and beautiful hedges, you can let yourself be pampered. To this end, the B&B, an apartment with a private entrance that is fully equipped, is attractively and rurally furnished.
De Korenbloem is 78m2 in size and has a lovely living room with kitchen, a large bathroom with rain shower and a separate bedroom. You can comfortably stay there with just the two of you. In the heated veranda, with a view of the animals of the care farm, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning and the peace and quiet in the evening. The breakfast of regional, honest products is delivered to you in a wicker basket at a time of your choice.
Noordbroek has many monumental farms and houses, a Romano-Gothic church from the 13th century and 19th century windmills. There are also some smaller museums. The village borders the Oldambt: a wide open landscape with stately farms and authentic villages. For water lovers there is the Schildmeer further on and in Nieuweschans is the Thermenbad of the same name.
HistoryThis farm was an oldie, dating back to 1880. From that moment on, the family farm has been owned by the ten Have family, of whom the fourth generation now lives here and runs an arable farm with a care farm. Unfortunately, the earthquakes also left irreparable traces here. Therefore, it was decided to rebuild the farm. In the new characteristic farmhouse, many old elements from the original farmhouse have been incorporated to preserve the atmosphere of yesteryear. Work will be completed in the spring of 2023. By then, the beautiful B&B will also open its doors.
