Right on the market and opposite the church of the artists' village Watou you will find this formidable house. No less than 430 m2 of what was a brewery in the 18th century has been completely renovated and sublimely furnished as a luxury holiday home. Various lounges have been set up for this purpose, a kitchen that many professional chefs would envy and ten bedrooms that together offer ample space for 32 guests. In addition, there are eight bathrooms, all of which have a shower, washbasin and toilet - there are two separate toilets in the houses -, while some bathrooms are also equipped with a bath or whirlpool.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be arranged on request, but you can also cook for yourself. A washing machine and dryer are also available and, as icing on the cake, there is also a sauna and relaxation area with a Finnish sauna (Tulikivi) with a capacity for 8-10 people, spread over different levels. To complete the great enjoyment, there are also relax chairs, there is mood lighting and a spacious walk-in shower.
For the beautiful days, the terrace is ready for you. Complete with garden tables and chairs and all amenities for extensive barbecuing together. In the garden you will find play equipment for the children, the parking spaces are covered and for those looking for some action there is a ping pong table, billiards, frog table, bird cock and various board games and puzzles.
In addition to being a holiday home, Douviehuis with five meeting rooms and a capacity of up to 120 people is also the perfect setting for meetings, parties, events, conferences, workshops and team buildings. Nothing is impossible (inquire on the spot about the possibilities).

HistorySince the 1700s, Douviehuis has had a rich history as a brewery, farm, inn and location during many a poetry summer and various editions of the arts festival in the artists' village of Watou.
