This residence dates from 1830 and was built by Catherine Soullier as a summer residence. After her death, granddaughter Rose Soullier inherited the house. Rose had six children, many of whom pursued remarkable careers. Her granddaughter, author Marguerite Bourcet, wrote her first novel here in 1922 and later published fifteen works. She described the estate as an idyllic park designed by a landscape architect. Marguerite's sister, Marie-Rose, married pharmacist René Fouché, inventor of the famous herbal tea Boldoflorine and a pioneer in radio advertising. The current owners combine the charm of a historic house with contemporary comfort, creating a place where peace, space, and hospitality converge.
