Timmerwerkplaats Ferwoude is a special guesthouse where modern architecture, design and history reinforce and respect each other. The house is suitable for a maximum of six adults and six children, making it the ideal holiday destination for a large family or three smaller families.
The atmosphere is warm, minimalist, atmospheric and authentic. All historical elements have been preserved and/or supplemented with modern craftsmanship. The house has its own garden and borders the canal. There is an attractive living room, a kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal yourself and three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Bedroom 1 has 2 double beds. Bedroom 2 is equipped with a double bed, bunk bed and cot and bedroom 3 with a double bed and a bunk bed. All bedrooms have air conditioning.
Ferwoude is located between Workum and Makkum, in the southwestern corner of Friesland where peace and space are the key words.
HistoryThis original farm annex carpentry workshop from the mid-19th century is now a national monument and was renovated and restored with the greatest care in 2024.
