'tHuis aan de BEEK offers two luxury holiday apartments and is located in the hamlet of Terziet in the outskirts of the village of Epen at the very deepest point of South Limburg. The apartments, a studio apartment for two people and a loft apartment for four guests, are part of a former farmhouse located in a stream valley in the southernmost tip of the Netherlands. The apartments each have their own entrance, extremely comfortable beds, a complete kitchen with dining table, sitting area with wood burning stove and bathroom with all the trimmings and also wifi furthermore all possible modern comfort. The studio apartment has a semi-separate bedroom and the loft apartment has two bedrooms. Parking is of course no problem, outdoor space is also abundantly available wifi is free.
tHUIS aan de BEEK is part of the neighborhood of Terziet, which lies in the outskirts of Epen. Terziet is part of a protected village in the hills of South Limburg. The Heuvelland is also popularly called Little Switzerland. The region differs considerably from the rest of the Netherlands. There are numerous sources and source streams, slope forests, hollow roads, tall trees and lush overgrown verges, with quite a few rare flowers and plants - including orchids and the zinc pansy. The area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists. Sheepfold Mergelland in Epen, subtropical swimming paradise Mosaqua in Gulpen, the golf course in Gulpen, the riding school in Vaals, indoor ski area SnowWorld Landgraaf, zoo Gaia Zoo in Kerkrade, wellness center Thermae 2000 in Valkenburg are worthwhile. And we have not even mentioned the theaters and cinemas, restaurants, bars and cafes and shops and museums of Heerlen, Kerkrade, Maastricht, Aachen and Liège.
HistoryThe homestead complex of tHUIS on the BEEK is a textbook example of 18th and 19th-century half-timbered buildings that are so characteristic of this region. The farm has recently been completely restored and modernized and adapted to today's requirements. All valuable authentic elements have been retained. The result is a wonderful mix of old and new.
