Two lovely holiday homes and a B&B, both located on an ancient estate in the middle of the greenery, where you can enjoy nature and each other endlessly. Walking, cycling or swimming in the swimming pond: it is all possible here.
The B&B, to begin with, is located in the former Bakhuisje of the estate. Which means that two people - with a child - have the realm here alone. The Bakhuisje consists of two parts. With the dining area on the ground floor and a lovely sleeping area in the basement and a fully equipped kitchen. All possible facilities, including an authentic fireplace with bread oven and wood stove are available. You also have your own orchard with terrace. It is possible to cook yourself, but those who go for convenience can also order a well-filled breakfast basket on request.
Both holiday homes are located in the monumental Flemish barn and each offer four bedrooms with space for up to ten guests. The kitchens are well equipped and the bathrooms have a shower and a sauna. A TV and DVD player, music system, books, magazines and games have also been thought of, while outside the terrace with playing field, jeu de boules court and table tennis table awaits. A gas barbecue can be used at an additional cost.
The two accommodations can also be connected by means of a door wall that can be opened. This creates one large holiday home with eight bedrooms, suitable for groups of up to twenty people.
Catering can be arranged in consultation and in the vicinity of De Hoevens there are several nice restaurants for dinner and lunch.
Nature lovers will get their money's worth on this estate, because there is plenty to see and experience here. The village to which the estate belongs is located between Riel and Baarle-Nassau and near Tilburg and Breda, so that culture and entertainment can also be enjoyed for those who want it.
HistoryThe history of Landgoed De Hoevens goes back to the Bronze and Iron Ages (ca. 1700-100 BC), while the written history begins in 1204. Since the beginning of the last century, the estate has been owned by the Blomjous family, of which the third generation is now at the helm. This generation chose to manage and develop the estate in a sustainable manner with love and attention to nature. The results are impressive!

Beste mensen, wij hebben een week mogen logeren in het knusse bakhuis. Het landgoed straalt heel veel liefde voor mens en natuur uit. Er zijn vele mogelijkheden om op het landgoed te vertoeven.
