An estate, a historic country house, lots of space, lots of atmosphere and comfort, all on the beautiful peninsula of Walcheren? At the end of 2017, Jorn and Jorien - with their three daughters - received the key to the unique Huis der Boede and since then they have worked very hard. Among other things, to be able to share their special outdoors with others.
To this end, five sublime guest rooms have been realised. They are all different and very unique, but without exception for two, atmospheric, colorful and with an eye for detail. Each room has its own luxurious bathroom, a seat, a beautiful view and comfortable beds, facilities for making coffee and tea and much more.
Those rooms are - just as befits an original Bed and Breakfast - located in the family house. It must be said that everything is done to create a harmonious balance between private and B&B.
You can enjoy an extensive breakfast in the nationally listed decorative room.
Huis ter Boede is not suitable for children younger than 12 years. Pets are not welcome.
Beautiful Walcheren is enclosed by the North Sea, the Western Scheldt, the Veerse Meer and the reclaimed Sloe. In addition to walks through the beautiful nature reserves and on the wide beaches, you can also indulge in the historic streets, shops, restaurants and bars in the capital Middelburg, the port city of Vlissingen and the monumental Veere. There is also plenty to experience and see in the cozy Domburg and Zoutelande and everything is easily accessible.
HistoryIf you're into being pampered at a nationally listed country estate, then you've come to the right place. This nearly 300-year-old historic country estate is located on the newly redeveloped Der Boede estate. The entire building has recently been thoroughly renovated into a house with a luxury bed and breakfast on the first floor.
Wij hebben in Huis der Boede gelogeerd van vrijdag 6 tot zaterdag 7 september 2024. We werden gastvrij ontvangen door Jorn in het indrukwekkende pand. Het oude pand is zeer stijlvol gerenoveerd en ligt op een prachtige locatie. De kamer was stijlvol ingericht evenals de luxe badkamer. Het ontbijt wat Jorn en Jorien serveerden was zeker ook de moeite waard. Hier werd veel aandacht aanbesteed door Jorn en Jorien. Jammer dat we op dat moment maar één nacht konden boeken! Al met al een echt pareltje en een aanrader om hier een keer te logeren. Jorn en Jorien bedankt voor de gastvrijheid en de inspiratie die jullie uitstralen.
