A cottage as a cottage is meant to be: cozy, clear and complete, furnished for two and wonderfully in the greenery. Schilde Cottage also looks out onto the flower garden and also offers a large outdoor swimming pool - open in nice weather - and a patio. And all that about 12 km from the old center of Antwerp.
The house is completely free - on the domain where the owners also live - so privacy is guaranteed. The living room is cozy and equipped with a sitting area and flat screen. The open kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook yourself if you feel like it. The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a shower, the toilet is separate and the covered terrace can be reached through the patio doors, is completely private and equipped with a dining table and a sitting area. You sleep on the first floor under the beams in a bed that guarantees a good night's sleep.
Surroundings
The domain to which the cottage belongs is located 250m from the village centre and in the middle of forest areas with extensive cycling and walking routes, various golf clubs - Rinkven (36 holes), Ternesse (18 holes) and Bossenstein (27 holes) - and several riding schools. The centre of Antwerp, with always something to do and lots to see, is 12 km away. You will find various restaurants in the vicinity.

This thatched cottage is detached and is situated on the same estate as the owners’ home. Both the house and the cottage date from the early 20th century. The owners have converted the cottage into a comfortable guesthouse, taking every care to ensure you have everything you need.
