At De Beddermolen, you can enjoy a princely stay on an authentically restored Kempen mill farm. The charming Mill House, which once housed the miller who dried his grain in the attic, offers spacious accommodation for up to ten people. There are three charming bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. The cozy living room is perfect for relaxing by the fireplace, while the snug upstairs room offers a lovely spot to retreat with a good book. The dining room features an old fireplace, and the fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare a delicious dinner.

For sunny days, the expansive private garden and terrace overlooking the mill and the surrounding fields await. A barbecue is provided.

A charging station for electric cars has also been considered, and there are even three women's bicycles, three men's bicycles, and an electric bicycle!

De Beddermolen is an ideal base for numerous activities and unique sights. You can explore various beautiful nature reserves on foot or by bike, and there are numerous well-marked paths and routes that lead you through picturesque landscapes and dense forests, past beautiful lakes and historical sights. Antwerp and Leuven are nearby, and Mechelen and Turnhout are easily accessible.

History

Het Molenhuis is a unique, historic holiday home that housed the local miller and his family for centuries. This monumental farm was completely restored between 2018 and 2020 by the Kempens Landschap Foundation. All the authentic elements were preserved, so you can experience the charm of yesteryear combined with the comfort and amenities of today.
