In 1921, the grandfather of the owner, Luce, bought this townhouse, which dates from 1876, and her father subsequently moved into the property. Both men served as mayors.
Cimbarsaca has 4 authentic bedrooms with sitting area. Each room has a full bathroom with bath or shower, mini-bar, TV, telephone and internet and a mezzanine with seating area and an extra bed. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the charming breakfast room or on the terrace overlooking the tranquil garden. You can enjoy a drink in the lounge.
Surroundings
Cimbarsaca is the perfect base from which to explore the Flemish Ardennes. Many character rich villages are interspersed with beautiful nature. The historical cities Ghent, Oudenaarde, Kortrijk and Bruges are easily accessible.
History
This manor house was built in 1876. The current owner’s father inherited the property from her grandfather who purchased it in 1921. They both wore the mayoral sash. A house with status in other words. Owner Luce had the premises renovated and opened her own B&B in 2011.
