Many walking and cycling routes lead to the beautiful old villages nearby. Bruges is no more than 17 km away. Ostend, queen of the beach resorts and famous for its Kursaal and provincial Museum of Modern Art, is only 10 km away. At 22 km is the mundaine Knokke-Heist with its beautiful villas and exclusive boutiques.
