These are the highlights

  • This old vicarage is surrounded by greenery.

  • One bedroom is wheelchair accessible.

  • On request: a breakfast hamper with fresh smoothies and fruit juices; a tapas platter or dinner; wines; a private chef.

In the middle of the picturesque village of Doomkerke you will find De Pastorhaan: a unique holiday home to spend endless hours with your friends and/or family. The presbytery of yesteryear is surrounded by greenery and offers beautiful views of the woods and Flemish fields. The inside of the house has been completely rebuilt and stylishly furnished to allow no fewer than 32 people to lack nothing.

To this end, twelve bedrooms with air conditioning and private bathroom are available, one of which is accessible for wheelchair users. In the spacious open kitchen with cooking island you will find all the necessary accessories for cooking together. There are two dishwashers, two refrigerators and two coffee machines. The living room and sitting area also offer plenty of space for everyone - the dining table has 32 dining chairs and two highchairs for children, and the sitting area includes a beamer and smart TV.

In the play/TV room you will find a wide range of board games and a table football. Children can enjoy themselves in the spacious garden with petanque court and play equipment. On the terraces – both open and covered – you can enjoy a drink at sunset.

As an extra, on request and in consultation, a breakfast package with fresh smoothies and fruit juices, a tapas board or dinner, wines and a cook at home.

Surroundings

De Pastorhaan is located in the Brugse Ommeland and close to Bulskampveld, the most wooded area in West and East Flanders. From here you can make beautiful walking and cycling routes where more information can be obtained locally. For lovers of art, culture and fashion, Bruges awaits at 20 km, Ghent at 30 km, Roeselare (30 km), Ostend (35 km) and Kortrijk (40 km). There are several restaurants in the area that are well worth a visit.

Did you know that De Pastorhaan is also very well equipped for private parties, brainstorming sessions, corporate presentations and so on? To say that anything is possible might be going a bit far, but ‘almost anything’ certainly covers it.

The Bruges Ommeland, then. In other words, the green belt around Bruges. Which means that the (green) carpet has been rolled out before you for the cosmopolitan city of Bruges.
