Fancy relaxing? You can do so in the heated swimming pool in the garden, in the outdoor hot tub and in the sauna. You can also enjoy a massage at the on-site beauty and wellness centre.
The manor has ten rooms spread over the ground floor and the first floor. You can choose from deluxe rooms, comfort rooms and standard rooms. Whichever you choose, they are all equipped with every possible comfort. The private bathrooms are equipped with a (bubble) bath and/or (massage) shower or steam cabin. Some rooms have a private terrace. One room is suitable for the disabled. The two duplex rooms offer space for a third and fourth person.
Breakfast is an irreverent word for the occurrence of an invigorating night here. In addition to the extensive breakfast buffet, you can enjoy a truly overwhelming view of the Japanese cherry trees and the beech trees in the castle park. On warm days, the garden terrace is open for breakfast. In the evening, the culinary adventure continues in the castle. Chef Kris prepares a French-Belgian inspired cuisine at a high level. You can choose from a bistro dinner all-in or a refined dinner all-in.
In the garden you can enjoy the heated swimming pool with sun loungers, cocoons and bar, the outdoor jacuzzi and the sauna. Even a relaxing massage in the in-house beauty and wellness institute is possible.
Surroundings
In the castle you can dine in the evening (when the weather is nice, the park will be covered again!), where you can choose from the bistro menu or a refined menu. If you have time in this Valhalla, you can explore the area on foot or by bike. . Those interested in the First World War can visit nearby Ypres. There is also a beautiful market square here. Kortrijk has several museums, the Beguinage and numerous shops. Culture lovers can visit the old town of French Lille. Golfing and skiing (Ice Mountain) are also possible, while the nearby area also has several good restaurants.
History
Ogygia, like the names of the ten rooms, refers to Greek mythology. The manor was built with respect for the environment and looks like a pearl in the hop country. Situated in a beautiful castle park and next to a 19th century castle. Architect Luc Vandewynckel and hostess Carmen took care of the interior and gave Manoir Ogygia a soul, charm and authentic warmth.

On Friday 11 April 2002, the brand-new and charming Manoir Ogygia welcomed its first guests. For Carmen and her husband – and head chef – Kris, the Manoir is not just a job but a way of life, and their main aim is to ensure that bon vivants can enjoy themselves to the full.
