La Perle d'Anrosey

B&B rooms (2, 3, 4, 5 people) and holiday home for 4

These are the highlights

  • La Perle d’Anrosey is situated on an estate with a park-like garden featuring mature trees.

  • The B&B rooms can comfortably accommodate two, three, four or five people.

  • Dinner, which is also suitable for children, is a relaxed affair: you’ll all share a long table on the terrace.

In the hilly area of Anrosey, in the southernmost tip of the Haute-Marne and on the border of Burgundy and Vosges, you will find La Perle d'Anrosey: a B&B with a holiday home located on a domain with a park-like garden with old trees. The domain is owned by the Dutch couple Egbert and Ilja. Whether you are passing through or not, they will welcome you with open arms and there are four nice guest rooms and a wonderful holiday home that is a stone's throw from the main house.

The B&B rooms offer ample space for two, three, four or five people. You will find plenty of authentic details, but the sleeping comfort is perfectly fine and of course there is a private bathroom for each room.

There are several seating areas on the terrace, with a fantastic view over the Vallée de l'Amance. A natural pond with source invites you to relax.

Cooking is done for guests each evening - with children also taken into account. Dinner is informal and you sit at a long table on the terrace: a contemporary version of the French lifestyle of good food and taking time to enjoy each other and the surroundings.

The cottage is located in a rural area on the edge of the Amance valley and has a lovely large garden with a sunbathing lawn, terraces, flowers, fruit trees and an ancient walnut tree. The simple kitchen is super complete and completely new and borders on the garden side. The bathroom is spacious, the lounge is cozy and for chilly evenings there is an authentic wood-burning stove. An old staircase leads to the sleeping floor with a romantic double bedroom overlooking the valley. A second bedroom is also equipped for two people. There is also a second toilet on the floor.

Surroundings

At 600 km from Utrecht near the autoroute du soleil, near Langres and between Nancy and Dijon, you will find La Perle d'Anrosey: a great place to stay for one or more nights and therefore a top address as a stopover and final destination. The woods, the river Amance that meanders in the distance, the many birds including the hoopoe with its special appearance, voice and flight behaviour, the nightingale that sings beautifully in late spring and of course the many many swallows that return every year in their nests: everything works with this to relax. In Anrosey you can walk and cycle extensively, take car trips and visit various flea markets. Golfing is also possible in the area.

History

The B&B of La Perle d'Anrosey is located in a large 19th century country house on the edge of the village of Anrosey. The Dutch couple Egbert Brehm and Ilja Tammen own the domain, which has been the pride of the village for centuries, and they put endless energy and love into keeping the domain looking great.
