How about a trip to the Calvados? Because we have a wonderful B&B in store for you in the tiny village of Saint-Marcouf. Super quiet, super charming and yet close to all the historical and cultural attractions of Normandy. The three rooms are absolutely luxurious and located in a former parsonage that has been meticulously renovated with endless passion. Each room has its own entrance for lots of privacy and a view of the quiet garden where seating areas are available for all guests. The furnishings differ per room, but are without exception refined and tasteful. Naturally, each room has its own bathroom with all the trimmings, a seating area and beds that guarantee a good night's sleep.
The breakfast is extensive and varied, with a fine selection of local products, including artisanal honey from the house's beekeeper friend, homemade jam, fresh pastries, seasonal fruit and much more. Anyone who wants to go out for a day can order a tasty picnic basket with hand-crafted sandwiches, crispy salads, seasonal fruit and homemade sweets.
You will find a charging station for electric cars 300 meters from the house.
Surroundings
The D-Day landings at Omaha Beach, the city of Bayeux with plenty to do and see, the authenticity of the port of Port-en-Bessin and the famous Mont Saint Michel are all nearby. Golfers enjoy the fabulous view of the ocean during their round and equestrian enthusiasts are also in the right place here.
History
The parsonage in which this wonderful B&B is located has a long and eventful past. The current owners signed for a renovation in which the three B&B rooms were also realized.
