This is just what you’re looking for! An 8-hectare estate with oak, cherry and olive trees in Bonnieux – right in the heart of Provence, between Avignon and Aix-en-Provence. And to top it all off, breathtaking views of the Petit Luberon. On the estate itself, you can choose from a B&B treehouse, four B&B rooms, a holiday cottage and two maisonettes.

The double treehouse hangs 4 metres above the ground in the canopy of several fir trees. You’ll wake up to a sea of light, enjoy absolute freedom and a magnificent view, with nothing but silence all around. The décor is natural, every possible comfort is provided, and you’ll have your own bathroom and private terrace.

The four B&B rooms are extremely pleasant and brightly furnished, and are also equipped with every possible comfort. Naturally, each room has a private bathroom and terrace, as well as a beautiful view of the grounds, the surrounding area and/or the swimming pool. One room can accommodate up to three people; the other rooms are for two.

Petit Valvert is a small holiday cottage for two people, tucked away amongst the trees. It has its own little spring and is far removed from everything. It is equipped with every comfort, including a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom, a large private terrace and panoramic views. There’s a fireplace for chilly evenings. The cottage is situated in the heart of the woods and remains virtually hidden from the other guests. You even have a separate driveway.

The two maisonettes are also double rooms and boast a unique location offering plenty of privacy and space, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and a private terrace.

For everyone’s enjoyment, there is a heated swimming pool (solar-powered), a pétanque court and a beautiful garden with cork oaks and lavender.

Bonnieux, Vaucluse (Provence)

The beautiful region of Provence offers plenty of entertainment for nature lovers and sun-worshippers, whilst mountain bikers, cyclists, walkers and scooter riders will also find plenty to enjoy. The centre of the charming town of Bonnieux, where there is a weekly market, is 1,200 metres from the estate. There are also opportunities in the surrounding area for golf, tennis and archery. Just a stone’s throw from the estate, there are also dozens of excellent restaurants, ranging from pizzerias to even a two-star restaurant. Places such as Lourmarin, Gordes and Ménerbes, and a little further afield, Avignon and Aix-en-Provence, are certainly well worth a visit, and a trip to Marseille is also easily arranged.

History

The Valvert estate dates back to the 18th century. The buildings and grounds have been beautifully restored by hostess Cathy and her partner Pierre. The result is stunning!
