As the village is nestled between the forests of the Veluwezoom and the floodplains of the IJssel, it has always been a popular holiday destination for people from Amsterdam.
The owners have realized a wonderful holiday home up to seven gueast in their palace. With two nice bedrooms - and for each bedroom a private bathroom - on the first floor and an extra bedroom up to three persons on de ground floor. There, you can also find a living room with two sitting areas, plenty of books and games and a kitchen where breakfast - or a meal - can be prepared. Of course there is also a private terrace to enjoy the fresh air and the evening sun, as soon as the weather permits.
The house is rented for a minimum stay of three nights only.
Surroundings
Ellecom is pleasantly wedged between the forests of the Veluwezoom and the floodplains of the IJssel. That made the village a popular holiday resort for Amsterdammers who wanted to flee the city and even now the village is still popular with Randstad residents who want to exchange the hustle and bustle for the peace and quiet of the outside. The hiking and cycling opportunities here are endless, eating out is possible in the area from pleasant to star level and there is also plenty to choose from for golfers and wellness enthusiasts.
History
This house is a century and a half old. Although the authentic beams in the living room, among other things, still remind us of the times of yore, nowadays you can also count on all possible modern comfort - including floor heating.

The owners of this unique house love a lively atmosphere, but they also appreciate the friendly atmosphere of a village, as well as greenery, nature and tranquillity. So when they came across this listed building, with its vast amounts of space and a garden complete with an orchard, the decision was an easy one.
