The Sallandse Heuvelrug and the Holterberg don’t exactly have a typically Dutch feel to them. You’d be more likely to imagine yourself in a vast heathland in Scotland.

The Hanseatic town of Zutphen is known for its narrow streets, historic buildings, little shops and charming cafés. The old city gates are still well preserved.
