There are views of the church and fields on one side, and of the private garden and terrace on the other.
A generous breakfast basket can be provided upon request. Free internet access is available.
Surroundings
Garnwerd is an ideal base for walking, canoeing and cycling through the vast countryside with many authentic villages. Surrounding the house is a large garden.
History
This restored parsonage was built in 1884 and is located near a 12th century church. In the garden is the former vestry from 1912.

A local pub owner would regularly call on Emmeke Schurink-Plas whenever weary walkers were looking for a place to stay for the night. Protesting was no use, as, according to the landlord, her house was big enough to accommodate them. And so the idea arose to welcome guests into her restored vicarage, built in 1884.
