Herberg den Eijngel
2 B&B rooms
These are the highlights
-
Fancy something special? The large barn with a kitchen island is available to hire for a culinary evening with your friends, with or without a chef.
-
In the yard there is a bakehouse with an oven fuelled by bundles of twigs. You can book optional sessions for baking bread and pizzas, as well as a winter barbecue.
-
The rooms are only accessible by stairs and are therefore, unfortunately, less suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
If you're up for an overnight stay in a charming and historic environment with all modern amenities, then Den Eijngel is the right place for you. As hosts, Leo Koenraads and Carly Brussé will do everything they can to ensure that you lack nothing. To this end, they have furnished two lovely rooms. Each room has a spacious walk-in shower, sink and toilet. Breakfast is served on the central landing, which is not only super extensive, but also super fresh and prepared with natural and honest products from our own region.
If you want something special, renting the 120 m2 stable with cooking island - and furthermore equipped with all comforts - is an option. Just imagine what such a culinary evening together with your friends and with or without a chef, in this unique ambiance, will look like.
In the yard is a bakehouse whose oven is fired with so-called 'musterds', or fagots. Baking bread, pizzas, but also a winter BBQ in the bakehouse can be booked optionally.
N.B. The rooms are only accessible by stairs and therefore unfortunately less suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Surroundings
Bed and breakfast Den Eijngel is located in the middle of the Groene Woud National Park, on the edge of the church village of Lennisheuvel (municipality of Boxtel) and a few hundred meters from De Kampina on the Mijlstraat, which connects Boxtel with Oirschot. 's-Hertogenbosch, Eindhoven and Tilburg are just a stone's throw away and nature reserves such as the Kampina, the Oisterwijk forests and fens, De Mortelen, De Geelders and many more are within walking and cycling distance.

Den Eijngel was once a brewery, then an inn, and has served as a farm for the past few decades. In 2022, the finishing touches were put to a sustainable restoration project, which also saw the creation of two spacious rooms. Leo Koenraads and Carly Brussé look forward to welcoming you and will do their utmost to ensure you have a wonderful stay.
