Just imagine: a boutique hotel with six wonderful rooms and an equally wonderful apartment for six across the street from the hotel. And then a coffee bar and a concept store, all in the historic heart of Alkmaar. Starting with the apartment. This is located in perhaps the most famous building in Alkmaar 'Het Huis met de Kogel': a beautiful monumental building right opposite LUTTIK boutique hotel. The apartment covers the first, second and third floors of the building and offers ample accommodation for six people. It was stylishly restored and comfortably furnished with everything you need to make it your own home for a stay of two nights, two weeks, or who knows, a little longer.

Boutique hotel LUTTIK is small but nice. With light and spacious rooms that overlook the canal, the cheese market or (the roofs of) the beautiful city center, an informal atmosphere and wonderful beds and baths. Many things at LUTTIK are a little different than usual. That's because everything has been designed and developed as the owners would like to experience it themselves. In your hotel room you will find tables and chairs for working and/or eating and in the minibar you will find all kinds of drinks and beverages. You can have breakfast when and where you want and you can choose from the special breakfast menu to your heart's content.

In coffee bar LUTTIK you can enjoy coffee and tea and a savory or sweet snack every day between 0900 and 1800. The menu can be different every day.

Everything you see is for sale here. From the coffee beans and tea and from the lamps to the sofas or crockery. Even the aprons and linen tea towels are for sale in the concept store.

Surroundings

Alkmaar offers plenty of sights and entertainment to keep you endlessly entertained. Shops, bars and pubs, restaurants of all shapes and sizes, museums and cinemas: everything is available here. Outside the city limits, the bulb fields and beaches await you. To best explore the area, you can rent a bicycle or scooter if desired.

History

Boutique hotel LUTTIK is located in a centuries-old monumental building. The “House with the Bullet” in which the apartment is located is perhaps the most famous building in Alkmaar and has great historical value. During the Spanish Siege of 1573, a Spanish cannonball hit the wooden facade of this house. The then residents were unharmed, but the bullet is still lodged in the facade of this centuries-old building to this day.
