Just outside the Overijssel village of Dalfsen is the impressive medieval Rechteren Castle. Right next to it is the Carriage House, where it is very comfortable to stay for two to five people. You are surrounded by nothing but nature and silence, making it more than possible to relax on this beautiful estate.
In the Koetshuis you are welcomed in the spacious hall that leads to the fully equipped kitchen and the spacious, bright living room with patio doors to the terrace. From the hall you also reach the downstairs bedroom with queen-size bed and private shower. The sunny private garden overlooks the castle with quinces and the moat where you can regularly see swans, storks and sometimes a kingfisher. Due to the water, the house is not suitable for children.
The double box bed and the spacious master bedroom with double bed and adjacent bathroom with shower and toilet await you on the first floor. When you wake up you have a beautiful view of the stork's nest.
The coach house has modern comfort with free WiFi and smart TV with Netflix in the living room.
Surroundings
In the immediate vicinity of the coach house there are forests and meadows where you can enjoy walking and cycling. In Dalfsen, which is a ten-minute bike ride away, you will find a supermarket, bakery and bookstore. The historic Hanseatic cities of Zwolle and Deventer, with more than enough to do and see, are nearby.
