Archeon is a world steeped in history where you and your children can discover what life was like in Roman times, prehistory or the Middle Ages.

To make the outing last a little longer, the shoemaker’s, weaver’s and joiner’s bedrooms have been set up.

The authentic, medieval rooms also offer modern comforts.
Archeon is a world full of history, where visitors can discover for themselves how people lived during the Roman Empire, the prehistoric era, or in the Middle Ages. Nowadays visitors can also spend the night at Archeon. Three bedrooms were furnished for this purpose. The charming rooms were designed and furnished with long-lasting, natural aspects such as oak flooring, robust furniture and a royal oak bed (double bed and 2 or 3 single beds). Showers are available at the sanitary building.
Breakfast is served in the morning. This still gives you the remainder of the day to discover Archeon. Children can also amuse themselves with archery, canoeing or a quest, or by playing at the playground. In the evening the adventure comes to an end alongside a cozy camp fire.
Surroundings
Take a walk through Archeon and learn everything there is to know about people who lived in the Netherlands hundreds or even thousands of years ago. You can make a fire, learn about the work of a blacksmith, take archery lessons, bake bread, and even watch fights between fighters of the past.
