If you are looking for the ideal starting point to explore the beautiful Haspengouw, you don't have to look any further. Because Villa Copis has it all. The characteristic villa offers plenty of luxury, charm and homeliness and you can choose from eight top-notch and complete rooms. They are all unique, but are equipped as standard with extra long beds, a private bathroom with everything you need - including luxury toiletries from Molton Brown -, coffee and tea making facilities, minibar, safe, a desk and much more. Where one room has a balcony as an extra, the other overlooks the gazebo in the garden. Room Victoire has an extra bathroom with a spacious bath.

Breakfast is a feast consisting of a generous assortment of bread and rolls, various cheeses and charcuterie, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, home-made jam, Loonse syrup and other sweets and an egg of your choice. You can enjoy this good start to the day in the breakfast room or on the terrace.

In the sitting area downstairs you will also find an honesty bar with a wide range of non-alcoholic drinks, regional beers and wines. The swimming pool is also open for the nice months of the year. And then there is also the garden with various seating areas and terraces to dream away in.

Surroundings

Haspengouw is famous for its fruit blossoms. Although it must be said that it is also more than worth staying here outside the blossom period. The nature is varied, there are numerous activities to undertake and in addition to the rich history of the Count's town of Borgloon you can also marvel at the splendour of Tongeren, Sint-Truiden, Hasselt and Maastricht. You will certainly not be bored here.

Villa Copis was home to the Copis-De Fastré family for three generations. In 2016, the property was purchased by its current owners, Wim and Veerle. They are keen to ensure that its history is preserved and that everyone can enjoy it. This is how the idea of turning it into a boutique hotel came about.
