  • Amongst many other things, you can enjoy breakfast here with Grandma’s homemade jam and ham which – where else? – has been cured in the Ardennes.

  • At the restaurant of the same name, chef Frédéric Bruneel is in the kitchen. He learnt the tricks of the trade at SAS Sea Grill in Brussels.


Le Clos des Récollets is extremely peaceful, situated in the heart of the Old Town of Durbuy. The eight charming rooms offer all modern comforts with a private bathroom. At breakfast you can enjoy homemade jams and ham ripened in the Ardennes.

In the restaurant of the same name, you will be wonderfully surprised by the classic cuisine of chef Frédéric Bruneel, who learned the tricks of the trade in Brussels. In the summer it is laid out on the delightful terrace.

Surroundings

Durbuy is the smallest city in Europe and is very centrally situated in the Ardennes. The wild nature in the area offers many opportunities for hiking, cycling, skiing - and all kinds of adventure sports. Every year the Christmas spirit here is overwhelming. Thousands of candles light up the medieval streets till the early hours.

History

The house in which Le clos des Récollets is located dates back to the 17th century. The current owners signed up for a major renovation.
