Speaking of a stylish ambiance: La Corderie is located in a historic director's residence from 1885, which has been renovated to perfection and furnished with a great sense of style. You can choose from four rooms with a total of ten beds.
All rooms differ from each other, each view is different and each interior is unique, but the sleeping comfort is without exception top class. Wifi, digital TV, a desk and sitting area, Nespresso machine and honesty bar and a luxurious bathroom with walk-in rain shower come as standard. The family room on the second floor consists of two connecting rooms and also has two bathrooms.
The breakfast is varied and healthy. During the summer, the garden with swimming pond is the perfect place to relax.
Surroundings
La Corderie is ideally and super centrally located in the Hamme, between Ghent and Antwerp. In this unique setting of the Scheldeland, on the banks of the Durme, a cycling or walking trip is easily booked and city entertainment and an abundance of culture are also just a stone's throw away. But you might not even want to leave the door once you've checked in. The hosts Erwin and Luuk will receive you in style and will ensure that you will lack absolutely nothing during your stay.

One of the guests raved about the breakfast, describing it as ‘pure indulgence’. Host Erwin’s parents received high praise for the homemade jam and home-cured ham. And the ‘egg of the day’ – served with baby spinach or as a poached egg with salmon and asparagus – is also highly recommended. Not to mention the beautifully laid table.
