A wrought iron door leads to the entrance hall of this imposing mansion with marble walls, chandeliers and high ornamental ceilings. On the ground floor are two lounges that flow into each other. Complete with old parquet floors and murals, stylish furniture and special lighting. In the Flemish room with panelling, there is a table for more than 20 people. From here you have a nice view of and access to the terrace and the garden. The modern kitchen is equipped with all possible equipment.
At the back of the house, in the old caretaker's house that connects to the kitchen, and adjacent to the terrace and garden, there is a relaxation area with table football, billiards and a special TV room. Here you can play to your heart's content without disturbing the peace in the house.
On the first floor are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The largest rooms have four sleeping places. On the second floor are another three bedrooms with a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. A fourth room on this floor can be used as a TV room or as an extra bedroom for two people.
The house has a cozy south-facing terrace and a large walled garden of over 1000m², where both young and old can fully enjoy an oasis of greenery and tranquility – in the middle of the city. In the garden there is a charming summer house and a trampoline. In the evenings you can enjoy an intimate BBQ in the romantic garden. The beds are made upon arrival and towels are provided everywhere.
Surroundings
Maison, Cambier can be found in one of the most beautiful streets of Ronse and within walking distance of the Grote Markt, the shops and the catering industry. For walkers and cyclists, Ronse is the ideal starting point for endless tours through the Flemish Ardennes with fantastic views and unique nature. Ronse is known for its crypt and the textile museum. Tournai, Ghent and Kortrijk are easily accessible and well worth a visit.
